$7 for a pack of Noodles with otah, egg & bitter gourd. There’s nothing economic about this economic bee hoon stall. Would like to give no star if possible. Definitely the last time I’m patronising this stall.
Went to takeaway breakfast mee hoon. Selected bee hoon, noodles and kway teow. I was charged $2.50. I paid because I thought they gave me double portion. Single portion is $1.20. After walking away, I decided to check as the packet of food seemed very light. I was shocked to see that the amount is similar to a single portion. I went back and told the Chinese lady about it but she said it is that price because I ordered 3 types of noodles. However, I told her that the quantity is similar to when I paid for bee hoon and noodles. I asked for more but she vehemently denied me. I told her, if I had bought one portions of beehoon+noodles and one portion of kwayteow+noodles, it would be more than what she had given me, and at $2.40. She refused to give me extra and insisted that $2.50 is correct. This is daylight robbery. I am boycotting the stall!!! PS: I would have given ZERO star, but not allowed.
Used to dabao and i find that it has been getting more expensive recently. Stopped recently as i dun think its cheap anymore. But today's breakfast all other shops were closed so i ate this and i realised its much nicer as i am at the 1st batch 6am. All were hot and crisp, nicely made.. Wing + egg + beehoon = $3.70 Didnt get any bad service so i was lucky. In all fairness, their lemon cutlet rice and chicken rice are all cheap and good. Had been buying them recently. 3* today solely cos of the hot n nice beehoon.
