Aman Kozha⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Total Lifesaver! Came into Nando's at The Star Vista absolutely starving, and left incredibly satisfied. As you can see from the photos, the food hit the absolute spot—the grilled chicken and sides were cooked to perfection. A massive shoutout to Jun Quan! He noticed I was deeply engrossed in reading my Kindle, and he timed his service so perfectly that I didn't even have to break my reading flow. That is elite-level restaurant telepathy right there. Great vibes, amazing service, and excellent chicken. Will definitely be back!
GK TBrought Ansel for a birthday treat today after church at Nando's. He gets a free carafe of yuzu lychee drink. The chargrilled chicken is so tender, juicy and marinated skin grilled to a crisp. The juices seeps out when you cut into the chicken meat, even the breastmeat is juicy. Sides like caeser’s salad, grilled vegetables are done tasty which normally other places wld be done bland. I felt the spiced rice was overnight rice which was re-heated so I changed it to Peri-peri fries cooked to perfection — soft on the inside and crisp on the outside. It would hv been a perfect meal had it not been for the NUMEROUS flies buzzing from table to table, annoying patrons, especially yours truly. So, my pest-control nature surfaced. Flies landed on the garlic toast and broccoli, told them to change the side dishes which they promptly did and they also empathised with me about this fly-situation and informed me that they have brought this matter up to the management of The Star Vista. That did not solve the existing situation if which I took matters into my own hand and became the vigilante against these flying pests. The strike of the hand with the table standee commenced — 1 down; eat and observe, stealth of hand, strike! 2 down … and then 3 and then 4. I documented their downfall in the photos attached. I also showed them to the manager who promptly told him that we should change our seating to outside al fresco where none of these pests ventured. I agreed and true enough, we could continue eating without disturbance. This manager called Jee, is able to do service recovery effectively— he gave us new plates of fries and breads and lychee-yuzu soda for the disturbance caused by these uninvited visitors. Hence, my compliment to him for quelling my annoyance.
Raslinda RasidirHad excellent meal with 2 other friends. Service staff was prompt and attentive attending to us. Food was tasty and fresh. One of the staff was especially polite, Jun Quan. Although he is a trainee, he knows his work and is friendly towards us and other costumers.
