First try at Nandhana’s and brought along my Chinese friends, who ended up enjoying the food as well. The food wasn’t overwhelming, yet felt quite authentic compared to most Indian cuisine. Portions were good for the price, and the service staff were friendly and approachable. They serve North and South Indian food as well as Indo-Chinese dishes. Even my friends, who were initially quite skeptical about Indian cuisine, ended up liking it too.
We are so excited to have discovered this restaurant in a corner of Eastpoint Mall. We had the South Indian thali meals, a vegetarian and a chicken meal. Both meals were so delicious, the taste authentic, tasty, portions generous and the service was exceptional….. welcoming, efficient and attentive. The bru coffee was the best bru coffee I have had. We are definitely looking forward to coming back to try their extensive breakfast menu as well as their North Indian cuisine.
Ordered a today's special which was Tandoori Kebab. It pretty much a two-piece chicken drumsticks (lol) although the flavour was there. However, it wasn't fully cooked, for both of them, so that's that. The capati was good, maybe no $4.90 good, but it hit the expectation.
