A quiet but nice and clean restaurant. With very good service and observant personals who serve water and extra papadom. Food nicely served in clean non greasy plate. Food taste authentic and clean. Portion is just right for me. Ordered South Indian Thali Chicken meal set. Came worh 2 vegetables, chicken, papadom, rice, one soup, one yoghurt, and one small liquid dessert. Had a Chai too. Not overly oily or greasy, chicken taste fresh and not over cooked. Rice n is light and fluffy. Enjoyed the meal. Tea is freshly brewed, fragrance and fresh. Price wise is quite average indian restaurant range, expect to spend more than 10 dollars but not overly expensive. They do have value 5.50 dollars breakfast set. Seems worth it. Air-conditioning also has no sound, and restaurant is bright and fresh without the old restaurant smell. Will come back again. Hat quite a few outlets but this is at Bukit Merah center so is convenient
I don’t normally eat Indian cuisine but i was here for a company dinner. The food completely blew my mind & I was shocked at how delicious it actually was! The service was also impeccable. I heard from my colleagues that this is their go-to spot, always, for lunch & I can see why. Will definitely visit again. I truly recommend this places & their servers. Really attentive & helpful!
A modern Andhra-focused chain restaurant with 9 outlets islandwide. + 24/7 Halal-certified + Island-wide delivery. + Has catering service. + Air-conditioned + Extensive menu offers Andhra, North and South Indian cuisines. + Food quality itself is good, especially the Briyanis, Chettinad Chicken, Chicken 65, etc. + Main courses are generally for sharing among 2-3 pax. + Spicy items have a intense, fiery taste, in particular their briyani and mutton dishes. That said, u can customize your spiciness level. - Prices are lower than other upscale Indian restaurants. - SLOW Service & Wait Times: - long waits for menus and food. - Rude cashier. - There's a 10% service charge despite the poor service. - Always check the bill. Watch out for takeaway add-on prices. They seem to tag on the takeaway charges for each and every item separately, even when multiple item are put together into the same container. + Clean environment. Comparison with nearby Brinda's Indian Restaurant - The former is only open during normal lunch and dinner hours (unlike Brinda's 24-hr service), and is focused on Andhra's style cuisine. Nandhana's decor is also generally more modern. Prices at Nandhana's are also higher (e.g. $8.50 vs fr $12.90 for Chicken Briyani).
