  I purchased rice with vegetables from the shop. About 30–45 minutes later, when I ate the food, I realised that the vegetables were already spoilt. The taste and smell were clearly off. I returned to the shop to inform them and requested a refund. However, instead of refunding me, they said they would deduct the amount from my next purchase tomorrow. I then asked if I could change it to chicken instead, and they only deducted $2 and asked me to pay another $2 for the chicken. When I told them that vegetables should not be sold at night if they are already spoilt, they responded by saying that next time, if I plan to eat the food later, I should inform them so that they can tell me not to buy it. I do not think this is reasonable. Customers should not have to inform the seller when they plan to eat their food. Food sold should be fresh and safe for consumption regardless. I hope they can take responsibility for this matter and ensure that spoilt food is not sold to customers in the future.

  ordered the nasi briyani ayam on 20 Feb at night and ate it immediately when I reached work. As soon as I opened the packet, I noticed the chicken had a bad smell, like it was already spoiled. Because of that, I didn’t eat the chicken and only had the rice and papadom. Unfortunately, I still ended up with food poisoning the next day. It has been a week and I’m still not feeling well. I’m very disappointed and upset with this experience. Please take your food hygiene and quality control more seriously to prevent this from happening to other customers.

  I patronize this eatery at least once a week for their mutton briyani. Its very filling and flavorful. The owner/waiter is very friendly and remembers my order! All i gotta do is just wave to get his acknowledgement and he will prepare my usual order. Update: 1 Jun 2024 I think their chef came back from india! Food quality and service is back!
