Wake Up, Chef! I’ve dined here a few times and most dishes like the nasi goreng, naan, and butter chicken were great no complaints there. But the Mee Hailam? An absolute disaster. The gravy was ridiculously thick, gooey, and starchy like eating slime! Did someone dump an entire bag of cornstarch into it? It’s honestly inedible and shocking that this was even served to paying customers. I don’t mind paying more for good food, but this was beyond disappointing. Even a regular mamak stall makes a better Mee Hailam. Wake up, chef this dish needs serious fixing! I wont come here any time soon! Even if i do, i will avoid this dish entirely!

Regular since it was "al-azhar". Good food, acceptable portion but Service was horrible. Swanky young malay girl lack of product knowledge and not very attentive. She clearly hates her job. She treated customer like we owe her a living. I dont want to be served by her on my next visit.

"We had a really nice meal at Al Makan. The food was the highlight. The service and ambiance were both okay—no complaints. It is a bit on the high side, so be prepared for the price. My only feedback is that the cleanliness could be improved, but overall, we enjoyed the food."
