Jeff WangOrdered truffle mushroom eggwich pancake. The pancake was cold. Raw egg yolk tasted & smell really terrible and overwhelming. And the taste lingers. Nevermind the truffle. One word of caution, this pancake can be very tough to eat. In my case, with first bite, the egg yolk squirt to my face, shirt and hand as a revenge. The rest of yolk spilled everywhere. Into paper carrier, hand and MRT floor. The pancake was cold. But not yet dead. Or maybe mother hen was seeking revenge. When you see the flooding completely stop, good news, the pancake is then ready to be eaten. I ate it next to a wash basin in a toilet. I smell of egg yolk for that day. I was on the way out. There was no way to remove the smell until I soaked the shirt & myself overnight. I did go back to Mr Bean to tell the story to the staff. They are kind enough to offer tissue paper. "The egg yolk is not fully cooked one what. " 1. I don' t know. 2. Not all "not fully cooked egg yolk" will shoot 2. The mess is beyond a wipe. Conclusions: 1. I think it needs to be served hot. 2. COrder was somehow given wrongly, and there was no queue at the shop. Ordered cheese Nian Gao pancake and got a tuna pancake instead I don’t even eat tuna Paid for a pancake above its selling price and was left hungry cause I cannot eat said pancake Also ordered the soy latte, it also wasn’t really my thing. Very bitter and a little bit sour, may be the coffee beans and because I ordered less sweet. But no soy taste Overall expensive order of $7.10 and was cheated, disappointed and hungry.
