One of the better Mr Bean franchises: (1) no queue (2) reception ladies are friendly or at least neutral. there used to be a guy here that was overfriendly while forgetting your order, im glad he’s gone (3) pancakes have a rather high turnover despite no queue, so the pancakes turn out fresh and crispy (4) they were the last few franchises to add cheese to their egg mayo pancakes (price inflation and i hate cheese) I order the cold soy milk kosong and egg mayo pancake on a biweekly sometimes daily basis.
The spicy minced chicken and mushroom with wholemeal grain is suppose to be a healthy option but the minced chicken is too salty. Hope they can reduce the amount of salt.
Will not be patronising any time soon. The standard of the 3-in-1 riceballs has deteriorated greatly. In my last purchase last week, the dough for the skin of all 4 riceballs (for both peanut and sesame) was powdery and not chewy at all. Gimmicky 30-year promo vouchers - (i) super limited quantity of gifts (e.g. ceramic mug) and poor management on distribution of the initial batches, resulting in customers having to return for collection close to a month later. (ii) Certain items (e.g. black sesame soy milk pouch) at the Poiz outlet was out of stock. Was unable to get another pouch of similar value and staff didn't bother to update (or provide any indication) on when it will be restocked.
