Excellent mee goreng. Was walking around the hawker centre figuring what to eat and noticed quite a number of people ordering mee goreng. Looked well fried so I went and ordered as well. It was $5 with mutton. The mee goreng had the old school taste, that had a perfect blend of spices coupled with deft frying which resulted in the noodles being tasty and not too wet, with no alkali taste. Ingredients were plenty with a good balance across potato, meat, bean sprouts, egg, green chilli and tomato, topped with the usual cucumber and self served tomato sauce. Owner was personable and proudly explained the end-to-end preparation process for the sauces and prata dough as well the history of the stall, with relations to the one in Shenton Way, started by his father. There's also a healthy option of chapati and dahl for those who need to manage their cholesterol. For me, I'm eyeing the ikan bilis white beehoon next time I swing by.

Prata was pre-made but was still hot when it was served. The plain prata was slightly more to the doughy side with a moderate crisp. Egg prata was better as their egg was evenly distributed, thus the texture and taste was more balanced with the eggy fragrance.

Their roti prata is nice! We eat pretty often and the boss is very polite too.
