Not sure why so little stars for this food establishment, but I think there are far worse ones in j8, this place is actually my favourite of the lot. Came here twice for dinner and was taken away by their clam aglio olio pasta, cooked perfectly and delicious, so I ordered it again the 2nd time I came and it was as good. What is more impressive is how fast their food always took to come out, i was not expecting fast orders when dining in restaurants, but theirs was fast n freshly prepared. Hence I am puzzled with others reviews on here, perhaps peak/off peaks timings differs. Tried basil prawn pasta the first time and then truffle mushroom pasta the second time, and both were delicious👌 i was impressed for its price. i mean in this economy, delicious pastas at this price point are hard to come by. Other places that i had pastas at were in melbourne, where food is much highly priced and sometimes not quite what u expect. So this is already good 👍 flavours were on the spot for me. Also ordered corn soup on the side and a hawaiian pizza 🍕 😋 love the soup as always, pizza was also a delicious flavour surprise, i think if u like sweet & savoury, western asian fusion flavours , this place is for u

Not sure why the aglio olio was red in colour but the pasta was quite al dente. What surprised me was the portion of the salad that was really good and I think it cost around $5-$6. Hit and misses as compared to saizeriya.

Margherita pizza: Taste was just average. Nothing memorable or worth recommending. Squid ink pasta with scallops: Took one mouthful and could not continue. Strong fishy taste, completely unappetising. Maple mustard chicken with pasta: Pasta portion was extremely small. About two mouthfuls for an adult. Beef steak paella: Flavour was decent, but the beef was cut into very small pieces, which reduced the enjoyment of the dish. Duck carbonara: Acceptable, but nothing memorable. Gyoza: Nothing much to comment on, especially for the price charged. Overall, the food presentation was poor. All dishes were served without any garnishing, making them look plain and unappetizing. Considering the price point, the portion size, presentation, and execution did not meet expectations. Would not return.
