Matthew LeeHeard quite a bit about this place and decided to visit and give it a try. It's located in a Muslim coffeeshop and it's not far from MRT station and Northpoint. Didn't know there's such a coffeeshop here as I don't pass by this area often, but a coffeeshop offering a wide variety of interesting stalls to try. I decided to order the Mee Bagus Special at $7.30. Sounds expensive but when the noodles was served I thought it was pretty alright. First I have to say about the noodles. We'll cooked and it really absorbed the flavours of the sauces very well with just a few stirs. Almost every bite was enjoyable, starting with the meat so tender and soft, the egg so well executed and the yolk still very flowy. The fishball and meatball were so soft and chewy and the meatball has this nice peppery taste to it. Also in the bowl were a few slices of abalone which was very easy to eat, doesn't taste rubbery and easily cut with 1 bite. The only thing that I didn't like was the awkward and weird tasting soup which I was like totally didn't know how to describe it after the first taste. Can't really figure how the soup was made and also don't know to say if the soup was good or bad, just something weird about it. Everything in the bowl was so good I finished the bowl clean, but I didn't touch the soup after trying the first time. Recommended place to try and probably will visit again to try the volcano Ayam.
Benito LinusNoodles was well-cooked! Not too firm or too soggy. Flavours was light and doesn't feel overloaded with MSG. I like the chicken meatballs too. Yum!
Aremi MuhamatIt can be said that this is a fairly comprehensive noodle shop with a rich and greasy soup. This is the first time I come here and especially the staff, even though she is late, she is still very friendly with customers.
