WanderWithWitReview of McDonald’s @ Tiong Bahru Plaza I’ve always said I’m not a big fan of McDonald’s—and honestly, I’m still not a loyal supporter. But every now and then, their new menu items manage to tempt me back. Today, I came specifically to try the Tamago Shoyu Mayo Samurai Chicken Burger Special. It’s quite an interesting creation, pairing fresh cabbage and a soft egg with the signature chicken patty. While the combination worked well, I found the patty a little heavy-handed with the teriyaki sauce. Otherwise, it was a satisfying burger and a fun seasonal addition worth trying. There’s just something about McDonald’s with a Japanese twist that I always enjoy—it brings a refreshing change to the usual flavours and makes the visit feel a little more special. Revisit – 13 March 2026 There’s quite often something new to look forward to at McDonald’s. This time, I tried the Paprika Burger, and the level of spiciness was just nice for me. I especially enjoyed the version with bacon, which added a nice savoury touch. Of course, I couldn’t resist finishing the meal with a Strawberry McFlurry.
Ivan TanWent to the Macdonald’s at Tiong Bahru and ordered Sweet Paprika with Egg n Cheese. There’s nothing to shout about for this Sweet Paprika. Nice burger to fill my happy belly. Unlike the McCrispy and the ever going McSpicy and my all time favourite Double Fillet O Fish which I often have when at Macdonald’s, this Sweet Paprika I’ll give it a miss. Looking towards the next newly launched burger.
ah luiI ordered this new set meal. When I took a bite, I realized there was no meat inside. I asked the staff, and she checked the receipt and told me this set does not come with meat. But the picture on the ordering screen clearly shows meat. I ordered this at McDonald’s, and the picture clearly shows meat in the burger.
