Jessie TanRestaurant is dirty and lack of proper handling of food. Ordered a spicy tomato fish burger but realised I was given a normal fish burger when I opened the box and noticed the usual tartar sauce. I informed the staff at counter of the mistake and saw him returning the same box I’ve opened earlier to the kitchen crew. What happened next was extremely shocking. The kitchen crew took a new fish burger box and placed the fish burger I returned and throw it back to the table for the next customer. After I took my correct order, I informed the counter staff of what I saw. However he had trouble understanding and insisted my burger is freshly made. Only upon feedback to the manager on duty, and stressing it was unhygienic to reuse a customer rejected order then she ask throw that burger away. There was a total lapse in the way returned food was handled. Shouldn’t any food returned by the customer be disposed instead of repackaging for another victim? I am now having doubts if my food is something that was returned by another customer everytime it was serve cold. Also the sauce counter floor has tomato ketchup spilt and staff didn’t even bothered to clean when they noticed it. Toilets and sink is always wet and dirty. No properly cleaning was done. Suggest SFA to come and conduct a thorough check on the hygiene standard.
