Mohamed AzhanMost of the poor reviews are directed at the staff, and not the quality of food. Honestly, the chicken rice is pleasantly nice and fragrant. For the price, the portion is decent. Chicken is moist and nice. Perhaps the staff must have attended a Service Quality course, hence, they're quite friendly and chatty. Although listed as close at 8pm, they normally close earlier as the food runs out.
Simon “White Bear” KI used to eat this stall. Once I ordered 1/2 chicken takeaway. When I open up the packing, it was less than 1/2 a chicken. If a stall can pull such a stunt, there is no going back. Anyway, the chicken rice across the road at 505 offers much better value. Goodbye Maxwell chicken rice.
Nikh NikhI honestly don’t understand the low reviews, I’m a super picky eater being a chef and a home cook I like my food traditional. Honestly, one of the BEST chicken rice I’ve ever had, chicken was SUPER MOIST, they even had a type of oyster sauce condiment which was sooo good, cucumber was so fresh and crispy, I definitely will keep coming back again. Soup was amazing and balanced, chicken rice doesn’t get any better than this! Must try!!
