  Quite a special kind of fried chicken rice Malay style. A bit pricey for the whole thigh which cost $8. Add on fried chicken skin and cabbage cost me $10 a plate. There are 2 type of chillie, 1 is normal chilie, another with added dark soy sauce if I'm not wrong. There is a short queue and need, I waited around 5 mins. Many say the reviews are overrated, I do think the same. Not bad, but not that fantastic until I would take long queue for.

  Recently shifted to work in this area and this nasi Ayam was one of the highly recommended food by colleagues and netizens! Trying to try out all the tasty Whampoa Makan Place food. There is a short queue when I joined, about 4 in front of me. But the wait was quite long.. not as long as those who stated in the reviews, so I was really very lucky there aren’t any corporate or bulk orders. I noticed during my queue, Makcik will be taking in orders from another hidden queue, probably by regulars or her sayangs, which I am totally cool about :) Food food!! Here comes the food. The rice was fragrant and the bits were super yummy. I’m a savoury-heavy person and this fits the bits perfectly well. Chicken thigh was tender and the meat easily falls off the bone, like already penyet well! I ordered extra gizzard, begedil and tempeh to go along, they are all delicious to the max. Overall experience with the surprises extra wait and the food is very fine and pleasant for me.
