J CVisited the new Hougang green branch. Clean and spacious place with affordable food at affordable pricing! Serving is fast for dinner time. The cheesy fries is super good. Cajun fish and chips smells heavenly and taste great! Half spring chicken is crispy but not tasty enough. Overall good! Will come again!
PL KohA small aircon cafe which can sit 18 pax indoor and 8 pax outdoor with food court price. Ordered the beef teppan which is tender but teriyaki sauce was on the sweet side. Japanese rice has pinch of saseme seed and seaweed on top and can be more fluffy. Served with miso soup with chunks of seaweed and cold tofu with saseme sauce. Will try other sauces (sambal, curry, kimchi) next time. The brown sauce chicken chop is good with a bit of charred taste and not too saltish even though they are generous with the sauce. Fries is thick and crispy. Served with a fried sweet bun and whipped potato (sauce less peppery than KFC) instead of coleslaw. Good option for those who needs carbo fixed. The 3 layer Thai milk tea is too sweet for my liking. Overall good place for a halal meal in a quiet setting. CDC voucher accepted here and can use paynow. Downside is not wheelchair accessible and can smell the oil coming out of the kitchen since it's a small place.
