Been wanting to try their food for a long time, and I’m glad I finally did for dinner tonight. The wait for our food was slightly longer but without us even asking, Manager Eric came over to our table and professionally explained the reason for the delay. That level of service was very much appreciated. We would also like to thank Sum, who was attentive and proactive throughout our visit. He thoughtfully brought me a bottle of chili flakes in case I wanted my pasta a little spicier. Small gestures like this really make the dining experience more enjoyable. Last but not least, the food was absolutely delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely be returning to try more dishes from the menu.
We went at noon on a saturday. It was right before the mall was getting busier so it was easy to get seats. The service was alright . They were attentive at times and then other times, it was hard to get their attention. They also asked if we had any allergies as we sat down. We had the eggplant parmigiana and garlic bread as a starter to share. The parmigiana was cooked well and was delicious. Would recommend if you like eggplant. Garlic bread was okay - crispy and not too garlicky. I had the lasagna roll. The bolognese was flavourful and the lasagna was really yummy and satisfying, with a reasonable amount of cheese. My friend had the beef tenderloin raviolo. The raviolo itself was tasty. It's supposed to be on top of the tenderloin but it broke so they placed it in a separate bowl. The tenderloin itself was kind of dry and overcooked. So it was quite tough and chewy. Then we ended our meal with the lemon shell creme brulee. The lemon custard was so refreshing and delightful. The brulee of the sugar on top could have been more. We both had the strawberry apple fresco. It was refreshing. It was a great meal overall.
Tried Mamma Mia recently and here’s my quick review: Service – 7/10 Staff approached us while we were still standing at the counter outside, which felt a bit rushed, but overall service was decent. Environment – 7/10 The place is on the smaller side, but thankfully it wasn’t too crowded, so it was still a comfortable dining experience. Food – 8/10 Came here based on my cousin’s recommendation since my daughter was craving penne pasta. Although it wasn’t available, the dishes we ordered turned out to be above average and satisfying. Price – Average Reasonable for the quality and portion size. Overall, a pleasant meal and worth a visit if you’re in the mood for casual Italian dining—would consider coming back to try more dishes next time!
