Lovely interior design featuring a small stage for special occasions. The nasi sambal goreng is beautifully plated. The greens in the sambal goreng are cooked to perfection—retaining a crunchy texture with absolutely no raw, grassy odor. The beef rendang was relatively chewy, likely because they use a leaner cut of meat. Personally, I prefer marbled, fattier cuts for stewing so the meat turns out softer and richer. I really enjoyed the begedil, which was cleverly reimagined with a tempura-like batter. The outer crust adds a great crunch to the potato patty. Overall, the kitchen seems to take a minimalist approach to spices, resulting in a cleaner but less complex flavor profile.
Great food and nice ambience! The restaurant was able to accommodate large group. Very new, clean, and has a nice backdrop for group photo! We ordered buffet for 30pax, and serving was generous. Staffs are helpful and attentive, and prompt in their services. Thank you so much for making it a good experience for us!
Place: very convenient at the entrance of HometeamNS drop off point..easy to spot. Price: affordable for that kind of setting and venue (for some of the dishes.) Food: Nasi ayam penyet: Rice was cook beautifully..not clumpy, rattled. Chicken was boneless. Perfect for kids or those who ate with fork and spoon. Soup complete with flavour. Sambal NOT GOOD. It was sour and not even spicy. Too sour for nasi ayam penyet especially when usually it the sambal that matters for that kind of dish. Prata with chicken curry: Prata, I believe it instant prata as the shape of it and the way it cook was like how you grill/fry it at home. The middle was not crispy. Crispy part was mostly at the corners. Curry chicken was flavourful and thick however the chicken meat was just like those boneless breast, a small chunk of it..a lot for potatoes. Portion of curry, for those who like it wet/soaking in flavour, definitely not enough. Will try other dishes if I managed to come here again.
