Surprisingly delicious curry! Thought i'll just get a quick bite here and wasn't expecting anything special. Picked to eat at what I thought was just an economic rice stall but wow, the mutton curry was amazing. Not the cheapest economic rice but well worth the money. Hidden gem at the Kallang
Really terrible service from Malay lady at yong tau Foo stall (12:30pm on 24 Feb). First, She scolded an old lady in front of me in the queue for being slower in collecting her food (she wasn’t that slow), then when it was my turn, she commanded that I put the tray on the wet counter surface, (I wanted to put it somewhere dry instead of wet ), but she scolded me too and asked me to do as she said. Then she dropped our seaweed on the wipe cloth and continued to put it directly into my soup. Next, my order of rice was missing and I asked her about it , and she just conveniently said “I don’t know anything, you should know your order”. I told her exactly that I know I ordered rice and simply asked for it as it was missing. This malay lady has been having this stinky attitude a few times already that we visited. This stall is otherwise good, other Chinese ladies are fine, just this Malay lady really ruins dining experience for others.
