Had a simple nasi padang set with tempe kicap, sayur lodeh, beef rendang and a sunny side up. The standout is definitely the tempe kicap—fried just right with crispy edges while still soft inside. The sweet soy sauce coats everything nicely without being cloying, quite close to what you’d expect from a more authentic version. Rendang portion is generous with a few solid chunks, done in a more Malay-style padang—slightly milder, coconut-forward gravy rather than heavy spices. The sayur lodeh is on the lighter side and doesn’t add much to the overall flavour. Sambal brings things back though—decent heat with a slight limey tang that cuts through the richness. Overall, a decent, comforting plate, with the tempe being the highlight.

Old-school vibes, no frills but well-kept. Nasi Padang is a must, especially the sotong hitam—rich, tender, full of flavour. Teh tarik and teh halia pair perfectly. Mee soto also hits the spot!

Best Padang food in SG & the beef rendang maknyus. Tender, so soft it falls apart in your mouth and doesn't leave bits in between your teeth unlike other places. Plate cleaned in no time👍🏻 They took time to prepare their food & proud of it. No long queues & quick service. Just limited parking space up front but plenty road side in this area of many industrial buildings.. So happy that this place still exists and hope they will be in business for a long time more.
