probably the best halal mala store in the east. the pricing is good, ingredients are fresh and they never miss a beat on the spicy level. the auntie is nice, when she saw me waiting to order when they're closed for lunch time, she quickly finished her lunch and reopened to serve customers. the uncle is a one man chef running the cooking show so patience is required. to avoid disappointment, try not to come between 1400 to 1500 hrs since it's their lunch time. also, to confirm if they're actually open for the day, open up foodpanda/grab to see if they're available for delivery/self pick up.
Whoever say that the lady who served you is cranky, maybe you need to breathe. The food was Heaven. Spicy and hot.. She served with a smile.
discovering this place from Eatbook SG Youtube channel. it’s shiok! love it so much since I’m a Moslem and looking for Halal Chinese cuisine is kinda hard. after doing so research, I found this at Bedok Food Center. quite far from city center (hopefully will be so reachable after the extended MRT station of TEL line opens. Makcik is so friendly ☺️ the dry mala is sooo gewd and the price is relatively affordable tho (SGD 20 for 2 persons). would definitely be back to this Mala Wok again whenever I visit SG in the future ✨
