The curry was well balanced, with the curry flavour and coconut milk complementing each other nicely. At some places, either the curry powder or coconut milk can be too overpowering and cover the other, but that was not the case here. The fish portion was reasonably thick and went well with the side dishes. The downside was the rice, which was quite hard. It was fully cooked, but the texture felt dry and firm enough that it could probably be used for fried rice instead. The dining environment is set within a halal food court, so you may notice the typical “restaurant oily smell” lingering after spending some time in the dining area.
3.5/5 The curry served with the rice sets is really quite tasty, lemak, and not overly spicy. It also has a good consistency without being too thick or too watery. I usually order the fried prawns to go along with the curry. The fried fish was a little tough and hard, but the fried chicken was crispy and flavourful, with a nice aromatic rempah marinade. Overall, it is one of the better stalls in the food court.
