YM TanMagic Wok Family Restaurant gives a simple, comfortable and value-for-money dining experience. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are quite satisfying. Taste-wise, the food is generally enjoyable and easy to eat. One area that could be improved is the presentation. Since we often say good food should have “colour, aroma and taste”, the “colour” part can be made a little more attractive. For example, the Thai dessert “Red Ruby” was nice, but when it was first served, it looked rather plain and mostly white. After I placed a few red ruby pieces on top, the whole dessert immediately looked much more appealing. The staff were actually quite thoughtful and made the dining experience feel relaxed. With just a little warmer smile, the service would be even better. I also like the seating arrangement. The tables are spacious, and although the layout is open, it still gives a fair sense of privacy. Overall, a pleasant and fuss-free place for a casual meal. I would return again for simple, comforting Thai food at reasonable prices.

If you want service and quality suggest you go somewhere else Food quality is below average. Strengths are great pricing, good portion, speed is fast.

Food: We would say that if u peg value to the food, this would totally be it. But those who have higher palates, may disagree. As some would prefer paying more for better food. In fact this place is one of the yummiest food around with affordability in mind. Service: Staff is constantly busy preparing food and such. Despite busy, we do see some smiles, although not all d time. Effort is there nonetheless. Atmosphere: Being in Kinex, the whole basement is actually filled with fun things to do and eat.. From claw machines, lattes to various food choices.. these are just some of the observations seen at this floor. All in all, this will definitely be the place to go when you need to prepare for the family but have little to work with. Thank you Magic Wok!
