MH ThamHave ordered delivery from this branch for years, and have never visited the physical store. Standards have fluctuated greatly over the years, though the most recent order was a miss rather than a hit. The bread of the sandwich I ordered was soggy by the time it arrived. Other times, it would be well toasted and buttered. Will still order again as it seems to be the only branch nearby.
Ed T4 stars because you can’t deny LJS is good value fast food. Taste is consistent. Won’t disappoint.
Christina YMissed hvg LJS since they closed the ones at our favourite locations. We tried out the one at Tai Seng. Carpark for the premises was full on Saturday. We had to enter at the next building's carpark (Jumbo Seafood). Dining venue was small; ventilation was thankfully still ok cos there were at least 2 ceiling fans. The wait took a little while. A family of 4 who was seated just next to us and had come before us commented about the wait too. Ordered 4 cups of clam chowder, 1 corn cup, 2piece spicy dory fish meal, rockfish and chicken meals. Had a solitary 1piece original rockfish meal that looked very small and miserable though cos it was curled up badly. Don't hv pic to show the contrast of that difference as compared to the other 3 meals we had and it cost $8.90! Receipt still comes with that free 5oz clam chowder if u complete survey and u can claim it on the next visit only. IMO, the golden deals dory and chicken are still the best best instead of rockfish.
