John PorSeriously I must say I am a very regular here. However my patience has run dry recently. I ordered butter squid and this is how it looks like. Cooked till dry within the dough. The packet came looking full but when you really dig it up a bit it is all dough with dried up squid. I ate so many times there but their cooking hasn’t been very consistent. They said because different cooks. So means there are times it’s a bad cook and times good cook? I hope you hire a consistent decent cook. No need to be 5 stars Michelin but be sure it is worth my money. Squid is not cheap! Don’t even let me get started with their cereal chicken all skin thick dough and hardly meat in the end… I must say they were good at the start.
Nur IqlimahWe bought Golden Claypot Chicken, sambal kangkung and the salad YouTiao... Sambal kangkung and salad YouTiao was really perfect..As for the Golden Claypot Chicken, it's something new we have never tried before...it taste honey, oyster sauce and some other special sauce I suppose but one thing for sure, it was hella sweet. 🤣🤣🤣 My partner could only eat 1 pcs of the drumlets. Surprisingly, the chicken wasn't slices or chunks of chicken or breast meat cut into pieces but actually small chicken drumlets....I mean usually chicken dishes are chicken breast or thighs being cut into chunks like sweet and sour style or chili chicken style but this is relatively new. Did we enjoy it? Yes we did although I'm the one finishing the chicken but end up, it was too sweet so had to taupau it home.
K LDoing a shout-out for this shop for reviews. Saw this banner on curry fish and decided to give it a try. Taste wise is ok but my it is abit not the traditional kind I was hoping for. Maybe they cater for the vast majority of younger crowd nearby? Price wise is reasonable. Service is commendable, maybe new so they asked me for my feedback on the food. I will definitely will visit again! PS: It is Halal Certified!!
