Nice looking restaurant but the food is really below average.Ordered the Chicken 65 meal, with added egg masala and Gobi Manchurian a la carte. Prices are comparable to other Indian restaurants nearby but the meat and curry portions were miserable. The rice was hard and bone dry, while the Gobi Manchurian was hastily cooked with the cauliflowers not properly wrapped in flour, so they came apart when picked up. The hand washing area is right next to the kitchen, which blows out a stream of scorchingly hot air, so not sure how the cooks and chefs inside could handle that level of heat when already standing outside the door the heat was unbearable. Hope management improve the air ventilation to better dissipate the inferno heat in the kitchen area.
Hi, we was there yesterday evening for dinner. We had the kuruvadu kulumbu meals, sura puttu, Mysore mutton, kudal and Gobi 65. Food was good. Feedback: I ordered coffee for takeaway, coffee was $1.80 and I paid $0.50 takeaway charge for a plastic. It's also 1/3 the price. I think u should implement different takeaway charges for drinks and food. Secondly, They were playing GOD songs all the way im not sure if it is because of thaipusam or its a normal practice in the shop but it was just so disturbing to be heating god songs and having non veg. The volume of the music was also way too loud for the indoor area.
Ms Jivah the owner of Kumar Mama Tea Kadai, I am proud to say Im her big fan for PulichaKeerai and Iddisambal. Always mesmerised with her food videos and today I decided to check out the atmosphere in Little India. Spot on area and the Restuarant setup was superb with Open Air and also enclosed Aircon area. Today I tried their Karuvadu Curry, Fresh Prawn Spicy Sambal, mysore mutton and of course not forgetting the Pulicha Keerai and IndI Sambal. Mouth watering taste. Alot of Restuarant will not show importance in their rice Quality, But Kumar Mama Tea Kadai cooked White Rice and perfectly cooked which indulge the taste of the curries and gel well. We tried their fresh juice where most of the shop will add Sugar, but in Kumar Mama Tea Kadai no added Sugar. Lastly we didn't want to leave without trying their palm Sugar Tea and Filter Coffee with the classic glass from India. Mind blowing finishing. Overall Tasteful food for tummy, lovely atmosphere for eyes and reasonable price. Its a good hang out spot Thank you Ms Habibah
