I eat here every week. Usually i have their scrambled eggs and toasts. Scrambled eggs are usually slightly runny and wet, just like how i enjoy it. This is when the cheerful chinese aunty or indian lady makes it. On the weekend theres a younger chinese lady that makes the scrambled eggs dry and not as enjoyable. From time to time, i enjoy their giant ice lemon tea with no sugar. Not bitter, refreshing and still has the caffeine kick i need for the rest of the day. Even though these meals are easily made at home, i am lazy lah then i come here eat their $6.30 T2 scrambled eggs meal with toast and teh o. Egg tarts are on the more oily, sweet and flaky side and not my typical order. But the chocolate egg tarts has the chocolatey kick that i sometimes look for (once a year)!
Best kaya toast in poiz centre! Great service. The quality is consistent and the toast is nicely cooked with a delicious amount of butter. The coffee is always fresh and hot and enjoyable in the chill seating area. The chocolate egg tart was the perfect combo of sweet and creamy with a buttery and flaky crust.
I like this cosy place. Their tarts and pastry are consistent since I had them at their other outlets. I chose Set A, a tart and a drink @$4.50. it's a easy option since it's was the place which makes our lunch conversation comfortable and pleasant. Will pop by if I am in the area.
