Weirdly, I agree with many less positive reviews for the spot. However, I still enjoyed the overall experience! The food quality of the simple prata meal was relatively high, plus good portions! I can see why some may see the service as being at a lower level, but there is a certain authenticity and true nature of the crew cooking and looking after the clients with a proper attitude;)! The spiciness levels were relatively high for me, which is a positive feature when the engagement of the taste buds fires up at higher placings;)! Plus, there is a value-for-money aspect that works well!

Visited on 10 Sep 2024. BEYOND TERRIBLE, both in experience and food. Ordered maggi goreng ($4.50) and iced teh tarik ($1.80), seen on menu. Even pointed out to the staff. He did not once mentioned that menu prices were outdated. Food was very spicy like Buldak spicy noodles. I’ve ordered the same item for years and it never tasted like that. I could only eat half. The table beside me had 5-6 people. Most of them also did not finish their food and left. At counter, the staff, who earlier took my order, told me to pay $9.50?! I asked why, he said sorry he forgot I ordered maggi goreng, without meat like mutton/chicken ($7.50 on menu). And then he said maggi goreng was $5.50 instead of $4.50 (on menu). I asked why $5.50, he said menu is “old” one, not updated. I’ve been eating here since April 2017 when they first opened. All along prices are as stated in the menu. People who have visited here over the years would know. I’ve added photos of their first menu for all to see. Lastly, the staff never bothered to write down my order despite his poor memory. There were just a few people at the shop and he had to come back to me to confirm my drink order, and as mentioned earlier, at payment, he also got my food order wrong. Read other reviews here and Foodpanda and you will see that the forgetfulness is really something they never fixed. Have eaten at more than 4 of their outlets, never again. Beware. They go by different names (KNS Restaurant/Al-Afrida) selling similar food in Jurong East/West, Taman Jurong, Choa Chu Kang, Woodlands and Bedok. You can see reviews of their other outlets. See also Facebook posts and Tiktok reviews and then think twice before coming. There are way better options in the area that open till late and the choice is clear. Just search on Google Maps for similar food in the area and the good reviews will lead you to the right places.

Tried Mutton chukka briyani. It was good overall. Service is good and can increase taste some-more. Felt little salty in mutton chukka and they served in plastic plate which can be avoided in future. I will recommend to use ceramic plates or other materials instead of plastic one.
