  The food was really delicious - we ordered 1. Creamy ramyeon - spicy and creamy 2. Hotstone cheesy beef bulgogi - rice at the sides were crispy and sweet and the meat was tender 3. Chicken dumplings - crispy 4. Kimchi pancake - tasted like prawn fritters (rlly good) 5. Iced jasmine tea - cold and refreshing Additionally, they have free sides (kimchi, bean sprouts, corn etc.) and the auntie serving us was really accommodating & friendly. The only so-called downside is how it can get hot as there is not much wind flow so we sweated a bit, so i would recommend bringing a fan.

  Kimchi Mama was recommended by a friend, so we decided to give it a try and it definitely lived up to the hype. We went on a Wednesday around 12.30 pm and the queue took about 15–20 minutes, which was quite reasonable considering it was lunchtime. We actually tried to avoid the peak lunch crowd because there were a few big groups coming in for their lunch break. If you’re coming in a smaller group of 2–4 pax, it’s much easier to get seats and the wait feels shorter. For food, we ordered the cheese corn, boneless chicken honey garlic, kimchi omelette rice, creamy chicken ramyeon, and drink iced tangerine and pomegranate. After placing your order, you can help yourself to the free side dishes, which include corn, beansprouts and kimchi. I really like this concept because you can snack on the sides while waiting for your main dishes. Ordering is done online by scanning the QR code placed on the table, which is very convenient. Payment is also cashless via PayNow, making the whole process fast and fuss-free without needing to queue at the counter. One important tip from my experience: if you order the cheese corn and it arrives earlier than the rest of your food, eat it immediately. Don’t wait to take photos with all the dishes together because the cheese dries up quite fast and becomes harder to eat once it cools down. Overall, all the food we tried was good and satisfying. The flavours were comforting, portions were decent and everything came together nicely. Kimchi Mama is definitely recommended and I’ll be coming back again to try more items from their menu.

  I came on a weekday for early lunch so was seated immediately. As i was eating, i noticed the place was rapidly filling up w diners and there was a queue outside.. Their side dishes were self served, kimchi, beansprout, pickled radish, corn. Their kimchi soup doesnt come with rice, u have to pay extra for 🍚 .. The broth is v flavourful , with a generous amount of ingredients like toufu, an 🥚 , kimchi, korean tanghoon, onion, chicken/beef (u can choose). Their staffs are helpful and attentive, promptly provided me with chili padi when i requested. Their ordering system was by scanning qr code and online payment but not sure if payment by cash is possible. Overall quite a satisfying meal. Recommended
