This Yong Tau Foo stall at Cantine in Greenridge Shopping Centre has become my regular go-to, especially after church on Sundays or when I need a quiet, comforting lunch break during the week. While it might not be the most spectacular YTF in Singapore, it's consistently decent and offers great variety, making it a solid choice. The selection of ingredients is quite extensive, with plenty of fresh vegetables and various fried and boiled items to choose from. What I appreciate is the flexibility they offer. You can pick your preferred noodles (they have a good range including mee kia, mee sua, instant noodles, bee hoon, kway teow etc.) and choose your base – classic clear soup, or something richer like Laksa or Tom Yum. Of course, the dry version is also available, which allows you to add their sweet sauce and chilli to your own liking. I've tried both the dry and soup versions, and the individual YTF pieces are always nicely cooked. A particular highlight for me is their kway teow; even when served in soup (like the Laksa version pictured), it manages to retain a pleasant, slightly firm texture without becoming overly soft or mushy, which is a big plus. The Cantine food court itself is usually quite peaceful, adding to the appeal of having a relaxed meal here. For a reliable, customizable, and decent bowl of Yong Tau Foo in a quiet environment, this stall is a great option and earns a solid 4 stars from me.
