one of the outlets with better quality control chicken is freshly fried the special ed curry sauce is damn super good. super gao and tasty doesn't taste like premix. even comes w potato chunks! altho i wld prefer the curry with rice than over crispy fried chicken cus kfc chicken on its own is alr elite!!!! prata was yummy but a bit doughy and chewy
Finally, the auditor is here! For the first time, the coleslaw wasn’t dry, the crispy chicken wasn’t overcooked or dry, and the burger was actually packed properly. Most importantly, there were staff cleaning the tables and enough people serving customers, making the whole experience much smoother. This is the first time I’ve genuinely enjoyed the Crispy Chicken more than the Original Recipe. Thank you, auditor! I hope these standards stay even after you’re gone. 🫠🫠
Near-death experience - Order from 17th of August 2024, around 20:14 / 08:14pm - awesome vomiting session for 10 hours caused by raw chicken + dreadful aftermath I was a fool for not taking a picture of the chicken after I bit into the burger, nor did I go up to the counter to complain. It's too late for any of that now, yet I still want to leave honest feedback. Why am I only commenting now? Because I originally thought that my constant throwing up during my trip from Singapore to Bali was caused by Nic & Tom in Chinatown (DO NOT DRINK THE YUZU!!! The plum drink was also absolutely vile), until I looked back at my photos and remembered that damn burger... When I bit into it, that shit was only half-cooked: partly pink and slimey. I asked someone about it and they said "oh no that's normal, the chicken is just juicy and it's fine". I sometimes ask myself what the hell ensured me that this was okay? But it's not that I still regret any of that- I mean it's not like I can change what had happened anyway, lol. It was hilarious and I stayed positive during that time of forcefully vomiting every 20 minutes for hours (the taxi, at the airport, in the plane, at the other airport, the next taxi) until I finally found some stomach-soothing remedy at a pharmacy in Bali. I ate only light food for 2-3 days until I thought I was fine again- lol, I was not. There was no position other than death itself that would've felt more comfortable. I literally screamed in agony for trapping heavier food inside my stomach (on day 3 or 4 I had pizza and iced coffee), because as I felt unwell again, I thought it would be a brilliant idea to take the antiemetic from before. For 3 hours I couldn't vomit and was cramping on the floor next to my bed, begging every god to make it stop. Never, ever eat raw chicken - anywhere in the world, even in Asia. They do NOT have a special chicken that is just different from european meat. No one has it. Raw is raw. Loved the far east plaza btw. It's such a shame they removed the 3 waterfalls in the center though... Loved Singapore. ciao
