WanderWithWitYou would not have seen me at KFC — but this time, I came with purpose. The Samyang Buldak Carbonara Double Down had called my name, and novelty or not, I answered. The chicken cutlet held its own — genuinely spicy, with enough heat to feel intentional rather than decorative. Paired with the Samyang Buldak Carbonara sauce, it worked better than it had any right to. The creamy, fiery carbonara brought something KFC’s usual playbook doesn’t — a collaboration that actually made sense on the palate. Is it a gimmick? Partly. But a well-executed one. If this ever returns to the menu, I’ll be back — and that’s not something I say lightly about a fast food chain. The one letdown: the signature sauce was unavailable. A minor frustration, but when you make a special trip, you want the full picture.
Nate JavierThis is terrible. I got a wrong order. Get Mac & cheese instead of famous bowl. I went back to change. Now Look at this famous bowl... inside only have 3 petite popcorn chicken. Seriously. What is wrong with this outlet?? And the texture is so watery. Please do not come here.
