崔珉豪I bought a small sponge cake for $2.50 on Sunday (23/11/25) to have for breakfast the next day. When I took the first bite, it tasted off, so I checked the bottom of the cake and found visible mold growing, even though the top looked completely fine. There was no date printed on the packaging, which is unacceptable for any food item. This was extremely disappointing and concerning from a food safety standpoint. I will not be patronising this bakery again.
Lirene BayI had a very disappointing experience at this bakery, and what made it worse was that it happened during a non-busy period. I placed my waffle order via the QR system and waited at the store for my number to be called. There were barely any customers at the time—only one or two people in the queue—and there were two staff standing at the cashier (with only one counter in operation). It was clearly not peak hour, and the staff were not overwhelmed. After waiting about 5 minutes with no update and noticing that no one was even working at the waffle station, I went to check with the cashier. Only then did they realise that my order chit had already been printed at the preparation station but had gone completely unnoticed. What’s even more frustrating is that as I’m writing this review, my waffle is still not ready. This shows that the issue wasn’t just a missed order—it’s a lack of urgency, attentiveness, and basic coordination. QR ordering is supposed to improve efficiency, but in this case, it failed completely. There was no system to ensure orders were being tracked, and no accountability from the staff to check incoming tickets. Customers should not have to follow up on their own orders, especially when the store is quiet. Overall, the experience felt disorganised and careless. I hope management seriously looks into staff training and workflow, because this level of service is simply unacceptable—especially during off-peak hours.
