Nestled within a kopitiam, it is right next block to the hawker centre cum wet market. I eaten this 1 dollar nasi lemak more than 10 years ago when an ex colleague bought it for Office breakfast. For 10 years I kept remembering it but didn't find the chance to visit the store till now. Despite increasing cost over the years, they still kept their promise to sell 1 dollar nasi lemak. The 1 dollar dish is simple enough with not much ingredient but I think what made up for it is the sambal chilli. I can just mix the rice and chilli and finished the whole nasi lemak. At the stall, they definitely have a lot of add on choices. I ordered the next price level which I believe is 1.20 or 1.50 to get egg and ikan. The fried ikan was very nice. High recommended place if you love a simple humble meal of nasi lemak. Othrr than nasi lemak, they have other malay dishes like mee rubus and others.

It's commendable that they sell $1 Nasi Lemak to help the needy. I went for the Mee Siam and Mee Rebus, though the curry puff I wanted was sold out. The Mee Siam and Mee Rebus weren’t "wow," but still good enough for an enjoyable breakfast. Service was very friendly. Recommended.

Chanced upon this $1 Nasi lemak stall and decided to try the Mee rebus first considering we are time constrained today. Mee rebus was decent at $3, they have a lot of those crispy stuff on the top of it and it adds to the texture of it - not much of other ingredients but definitely will return based on the quality (will probably add some stuff in future too). Update Aug’23: Tried the Nasi Lemak and it was good! Skip the chicken wing and get the begedil instead 👍🏻 chilli was more on the sweet side, but good nonetheless! Definitely will be back for more in future.
