Visited JINJJA Chicken at NEX recently and had a satisfying Korean comfort food meal. The place has a casual and lively atmosphere, perfect for a quick meal after shopping or catching up with friends. Overall a good spot for Korean fried chicken and casual Korean street food. Portion sizes were decent and the flavours were satisfying. Would come back again when craving Korean fried chicken.
Came here midweek noon and it was not crowded at all, we were able to get seats, though the place is quite small with not much seating. We got the $7.50 deal for a main, fries (salted regular or onion) and a soft drink. It was very value for money. The chicken gimbap was okay buy the wings, especially the Yangnyeom sauce ones, were really good. Not too spicy and not too sweet! We came at a good time though, and during peak hours it can be very crowded with no space to sit/long lines. You have to grab a table first ideally.
I wonder how it gets the high rating. The ckicken meat is dry and tasteless. Kimchi ramen is just bland instant noodles. This restaurant is more for students who want a budget Korean meal.
