  Had the Executive lunch set ($12.80 ++, $15.35 after taxes) with a friend. Not bad. Liked their special sambal w koropok. We chose curry fish slices and beef with green pepper chillies (not spicy), comes with a drink. As it was off hours, place was quiet. The place ain't very big and gets very packed during busy hours. A good place to call and order packet food too! Very convenient.

  Came here for the first time and after trying, I found them nice! Being Halal, they are a favourite with our Muslim friends but I was especially taken in by the flavourful dishes. Will definitely come back for more. Service was prompt and friendly.

  I live in the neighbourhood and has always been a regular at Jiak, dining in with family as well as takeaway. We also frequently host friends and visitors there. However, 2 things irritate me immensely and management should do something about them. One is the petty charge of 30c and/or $2++for takeaway containers for leftover dine-in food. As we tend to order too much (the food is tasty), it is a shock to be charged extra for taking the leftovers away. This is the ONLY restaurant I know of that does this. The other irritant is the grumpy, unsmiling and bossy lady in charge of collecting money at the counter. Really puts me off. We keep going back for the good food and the waitresses are generally very nice and friendly. But once the Avocado membership finishes, I will probably not return. There are now lots of excellent alternatives in the neighbourhood.
