Visited the famous satay street at Lau Pa Sat and ended up trying Ina Satay at Stalls 14 & 19. While the most popular stalls seem to be 7 & 8, their line was insane—about a 45-minute wait—so I decided to go with this one instead. The prices were definitely on the higher side, which is understandable as this is a well-known tourist spot. That said, the vibe and atmosphere of the street more than made up for it. The smell of grilling satay, the bustling energy, and the open-air setting made it a memorable experience. As for the food, the satay platter was amazing! Perfectly grilled, flavorful, and paired with a rich peanut sauce—it didn’t disappoint. If you’re visiting, it’s worth coming here for the experience and the food, even if the prices are a bit steep.

They dun deserve even 1 star. Waited 50 mins plus for my order of 20 sticks plus 1 rice. I had to go and stand in front of their stall after 40 mins and "chase" them for my order. Seemed like they only pandered to big orders. If yours are not big orders, they would push your order to the back and let you wait. And they seemed more interested in taking in more orders than fulfiling existing ones. And what about the satays, were they nice? No. Meat was very hard/firm, not very marinated. Avoid this stall if you can.

Wanted to try other satay stalls but they were ushering for us to buy from them instead. Did not want to waste time so we decided to buy from them. Waited for more than 30 mins after ordering and still no satays served. During this 30 mins, they kept ushering for more people to buy from them instead of focusing on the current pending orders. And when the food came, to our horror, the food was cold. Seems like it had been left to cool or forgotten while we were waiting. This is pure example of poor after sales service. Only nice when we haven't bought anything. We're locals and they only ask the tourists if the food was good. You all always complain about foreigners being treated better in this country. But it all came from you, the locals, that only have interests in making money.
