Honestly, this was pretty disappointing. The portion feels quite small for what I paid, especially the amount of meat — it looks sparse and a bit overcooked. The rice is just plain with a slab of butter on top, which doesn’t really add much besides making it greasy. The overall presentation doesn’t match what was advertised either. The sauce is overly oily and just makes everything soggy instead of enhancing the flavour. For the price, I expected something more satisfying and balanced. This feels more like a rushed, low-effort dish than a proper meal.

Very disappointing. Had craving for pepper rice and was so excited to see this stall at a halal coffeeshop. By the time we collected the rice, the hot plate dries up all the sauce. It’s just plain rice on a hot plate! We had to go back to the stall to ask for more sauce otherwise we are just eating white plain rice. Waste of money and it cost $8.50. Do not recommend!
