Ordered the YTF ($1 x 5pcs) and Assam Laksa ($4.50). YTF fillings were tasty but i would have prefer it to be re-fried for a little while. Understandable not quite possible due to space constraint. I don’t have much experience with Assam Laksa but I like the variation that they are serving here. There seems to be more pineapple and less thick than other places, which gives it a more refreshing lighter soup. Overall still good to pop eat!
A newly opened yong tau foo spot. The laksa isn’t the usual thick Penang style, but it has a nice old-school flavour. Not a huge variety of yong tau foo, but the mackerel fish fillings are solid. They even have jicama fritters, which are surprisingly hard to find in Singapore.
Newly opened Ipoh yong tau foo stall run by relatively young female chefs whom claim the recipes were passed down from their parents , pretty decent eat worth going to try, i had added this new google map link since i didn’t see the stall doing it
