Decent halal sushi, albeit pricey. I enjoyed the Cha Soba and the Salmon Mentai the most. Restaurant was clean, and service was fast as the restaurant wasn’t that busy when we came for dinner. A glass of water is chargeable at $1. Bring your own wet tissues - the restaurant also charge for used wet tissue. Spent around $120++ for two.
Saturday, 7.20pm. Pls allow me to share my personal experience with the hope that service will improve for future customers. I’m writing this review as i wait for my drink to arrive. I hope management studies the peak period so that they can allocate sufficient manpower to serve customers. It took a while for a staff to assign a table for me. There were many tables and I was only one person. The main staff was super busy serving customers. While there was no delay for my food, I have yet to receive my drinks. It has been more than 15 mins. The staff was apologetic when the drinks arrived. Again, i am not blaming the staff entirely, but there was a service charge, so… also, I just feel that the management could have allocated more staff members during the weekend peak period.
I can’t imagine how this restaurant survives in Singapore. Food was terrible: sushi rice felt mushy, sashimi texture was weird though it was quite thick. Soba was sweet. Everything was just off. And when you place order, it totals your spending on the app but it doesn’t count certain plates so you are misled to think you have only spent $x amount. In the end two of us spent $100 on crap food. It was sooooo bad.
