Heavenly Wang Café at Terminal 1 offers a spacious and comfortable place to sit before or after a flight. The café has many options for both food and drinks with reasonable prices. I tried the Mee Siam for breakfast, which had a rich broth but was slightly too sour for my taste. The pandan cake was soft and smooth, pairing nicely with coffee. Overall, a convenient spot for a quick local meal while waiting for a flight.
Missed out my chicken pie order, and did not inform us. When enquired at counter, only then was informed that they were out of chicken pie. Early morning breakfast, noodles were dehydrated and crunchy, not moist. Found plastic in my food, please be more careful.
I decided to order the Curry Chicken since it was marked as a recommended item, but the meal was a huge letdown. To be fair, the portion size is decent for $6.80, but that was the only upside. The most glaring issue was the temperature because the entire dish arrived completely cold. The chicken meat was edible but unappealing without any heat, and the gravy was lukewarm at best. On top of that, the rice was dry and hard, while the potatoes were noticeably undercooked. It is honestly surprising to be served such low quality food at the airport.
