This morning, we had breakfast at Heavenly Wang T2 after dropped my girl at the Departure area. It was 630am and was quite empty, many empty seats and not many patrons. I ordered our food thru the order machine. Kaya Toast (with egg) with Teh O less sugar, and one bowl of Fish Noodle with Kopi O Less sugar. After 30 mins. Our food still not yet come and many patrons came by then. Waited for more than 30 mins, I went to the collection counter about my order, the guy just showed me long order sheets. Well, my orders should be earlier than these long order sheet. So I went back to my seat. Then my number being called. So I went to collection area again. I saw my order there for quite sometimes, but no egg and no drinks. So I waited and asked for my order. The staff there said never called my number! What is happening? 2 staffs pointed each other while I can see my orders was there (there was the ticket number!) Until I had to pointed out to them! I still had to watch for my drinks. When the drinks came, all so sweet and my fishtail noodle was warm NOT hot! Can u imagine if I didnt go to collection and pointed to staff that it was my order? I will have to eat COLD fishtail noodle! It was truly unpleasant experience there. Can see how the staff mess w the orders, no sequence based on who order first, worse that they dun bother to clear the tray return area, few rubbish bags pilled up, the tray return area full with disposable cups/containers cos the rubbish bins are full! I wont be back there especially if we dun have time. Truly dissapointed.
Famous laksa did not live up to expectation. Seeing the value-to-reward ratio, this is 300%-400% overpriced cup noodles. The laksa is SGD7.8 (+1.5 for drink), approximately RM24++, yet it does not deliver. While the coconut soup base is decent and hits the bloody clam and coconut fragrance notes, it doesn't really impress. The noodles have a slightly odd texture and there is a serious lack of protein/fibre (2 small prawns + 4 small nugget-sized taupok + 2 tbsp tauge), to carb (noodles) portion. Some good things are that first, adding extra toppings is FOC. Also, the place is very clean and the airport's interior design is exquisite and interesting to look at, although that really has less to do with the food itself. Drinks are decent and reasonably priced. In simple, I would not recommend this for travel foodies. The McD nearby will serve your money's worth better.
Came around 1130am. Quite comfy and not crowded. 7 dollars for fish ball mee pok n any drink. Ordering kiosk screen hang long time. Still good to chill here. Friendly old auntie serving
