Wang used to be my go-to spot for Yuan Yang buns—but this time, things took a dark turn… literally. I ordered a bun and got something so burnt it looked like it came from a barbecue gone wrong. I get that we’re in a community hospital and vendors are probably told to serve healthier food—but “healthier” doesn’t mean “charred to the core.” I was expecting a toasted bun, not a cremation! Sorry to say, this might be my final visit—unless I grow a sudden craving for charcoal.
Dine in at 2pm Friday. No crowd. Quiet with aircon and light music from the hospital. Ordered the traditional kaya toast set. All given in disposable bags. Toast is thinly sliced however no butter. Could be due to healthy eating.
Staff say not selling already, even though last order timing is 3.30pm I was there at 3.10pm. There is also other two customer waiting for her but she just rejected us telling us don’t need to wait already as tags not selling. Staff terrible attitude
