Ordered the Kaya butter toast set a couple of times. Price has increased to $6+ now. Tea was good. Toast had a weird stale taste to it every time I visited. Maybe it’s not fresh bread anymore. Eggs were on the smaller side. I got served raw eggs the last time I went, but staff helped to change it after my feedback.
The price has been increasing. For $10.70 for a plate of Mee siam, toasted bread and a cup of coffee, I find it rather expensive. The serving of the mee siam was rather small. There was a very thin spread of Kaya on the bread too even though the butter slab was generous. Nonetheless, food tasted great.
This is a good place for afternoon coffee breaks with meetings and gatherings. Good to see a recent increase number of staff and with the sufficient manpower, the quality of the food and the drinks also becomes better honestly. The credit point system is good but would appreciate if they can improve their app to allow us to use phone payment scan rather than having to remember the password every time to use the stored points.
