My favourite go to spot for traditional Asian delicacies like Mee soto, Mee rebus, Laksa and last but surely not the least Kaya toast. Kaya toast is really must at heavenly wang I feel. Some people say even thier is coffee is good, which I'm yet to try. Would like to come again for sure when I got time for lunch and evening snack.
Kopi O was served nice and hot, but a bit too sweet for me. The soy sauce provided for the egg is much thicker and milder than what I expected. The kaya and butter amount is generous but the toast itself is too thin which makes the filling quite overpowering. Reduce the sugar for the normal kopi O, change the soy sauce, and make the toast thicker, then it'd be great. The staff feels a bit disorganised, though the aunty serving me was nice. Some tables were not ready for seating despite the time being 10am+ and I needed to pull it out myself.
Kaya toast today (1 June 2024) was exceptionally bad, coffee was mid and soft boiled eggs are overcooked. Check attached for details. Usually a good exprience but it's with different staff. Would still visit this place when I see the other staff working.
