Stopped by Heavenly Wang at Changi Airport T3 Arrival Hall for a quick breakfast, but unfortunately, it was a pretty letdown experience. I ordered the Kaya Butter Set ($6.20), which comes with toast, soft-boiled eggs, and hot Teh. Given the current pricing, the quality of the food just didn't measure up. Kaya Butter Toast: This was a major disappointment. The bread lacked that perfect, airy crispness you expect from a traditional kopitiam toast and just felt underwhelming. Soft-Boiled Eggs: They completely missed the mark here. Instead of being beautifully runny, the eggs were noticeably overdone, leaning way too close to being hard-boiled. Hot Teh (Milk Tea): The only saving grace of the meal. The tea itself was actually quite good—smooth and fragrant—though it was a bit too sweet for my liking. Overall, the food quality has definitely dropped compared to what it used to be. The value you get is simply not commensurate with the current price tag. This will be a one-time-off visit for me; there are definitely better breakfast options around the airport.
Just a perfect supper Ordered: - Yuan Yang Bun Set $4.70 (included 2pcs Soft-Boiled Eggs) - Teh C (large) extra $0.20 I was actually wanting to have Yuan Yang as the drink too but it seems that either i didn’t say it right or i didn’t understand what they were asking Other than that, the food was perfect dipped into the boiled egg
The fried bee hoon was extremely dry, honestly one of the worst versions I’ve had. If you’re looking for authentic local Singapore food, there are definitely much better options elsewhere in Changi Airport. Unless you’re the kind of hungry where you’ve skipped two meals and your standards have temporarily disappeared, but i’d still strongly suggest giving the bee hoon a miss. The ordering experience didn’t help either. The self-order kiosk had run out of ink, so we had to check with the staff regarding our order. We were then told that one of our items wasn’t reflected in the system, which left us confused. After repeating our order several times, the staff eventually managed to locate it in their order list. The only positive is that there are plenty of seats available, likely because there aren’t many customers. Unfortunately, the food and service experience didn’t make up for it.
