YordanHanis is a cosy spot with decent prices, clean space, and a nice range of cakes and bakes. I enjoy their food items, great for tea breaks or casual meet-ups. However the food can be inconsistent. The chicken pasta I tried was bland and watery and the chicken soup was under-seasoned. Some dishes do shine (their stew has good flavour), but the quality isn’t always reliable. A comfortable place to relax over coffee or tea, though I wish the flavours were more consistent.

And they have a nice selection of dessert and bakery items. Unfortunately, the food we had was quite disappointing. Let’s start worh the iced teh si; it’s the blandest I’ve had in my entire stay in Singapore - like 70% melted ice. Moving on, the beef hor fun is tasty but the beef is a tad chewy and unseasoned - while there’s a possibility that this may be intentional, I’ve had better at way cheaper hawker centres. Then for some reason, the spicy tuna sandwich tasted like cold sardine puff.
Bright EyesConducive place for afternoon tea. The hot lemon tea and honey lemon we ordered were really nice. Very flavourful with a strong lemon zest. I come often for tea. They have a wide variety of dishes that you can order. I tried their fried hor fun and they were very good. Have the right ‘wok-hei’. Their sandwiches were also yummy. Recommended for meals with family and friends. Was there again yesterday, 5 July 2024. They have renovated the place. Seems to have more seats but its still comfortable, no overcrowding. Had Fried Eggs & Cheese Sandwich Toast with Coffee. A wonderful set for afternoon snacks. Was there again on 26 July 2024. Had Fried eggs Sandwich Toast with coffee. A wonderful combination for afternoon snacks. Return here many times for coffee and fried egg with cheese wholemeal sandwich toast. Its just wonderful to come here to relax. Came here again today after violin lesson. Had chicken curry puff and salted dosha bing with Kopi C Kosong. Enjoy my break leisurely here. Really enjoyed myself! Was here on 4 Jan 2025 with ex schoolmates for lunch. Had a wonderful time here. Good food, good drinks and spaciousness. Had a wonderful time here with my nephew on 5 April 2025.
