JLYHStore is located near escalators, next to Saboten and Ben & Jerry's, below library, above Marks & Spencer, Chagee and Owndays. Food is tasty, reasonably priced for the location and ambience. Halibut fish fillet for nabemono was thick and not fishy. Sukiyaki sets were worth it, can select rice or udon, and portion of udon was substantial. Took a while to come to a boil but once boiled, was piping hot and meats cooked fast. Beef Don didn't look great but was surprisingly yummy, we couldn't stop eating the fluffy scrambled egg and tender beef slices. Not much beef slices provided though. Miso soup had quite a lot of kelp. No complimentary water served. Service was also meh. Ordering done through qr code on table. Chairs were uncomfortable, rattan and way too deep for back to lean comfortably on seat backing. Sgd 78 after gst and service charge for 4 sets. We might be back if other eateries are packed.
Cindy ChngHad a very enjoyable meal at GyoGyo. The grilled fish was fresh and flavourful, while the sukiyaki was hearty with generous ingredients. We also tried the sushi roll, which was beautifully presented and complemented the meal nicely. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a pleasant place to catch up with friends and family over a good meal. A special thank you to Mint for her excellent service. She was friendly, attentive and welcoming throughout our visit. Her cheerful attitude and genuine hospitality made the dining experience even more enjoyable. It is always nice to be served by someone who takes pride in looking after customers. Great food, great atmosphere and wonderful service. Will definitely be back again.
Cyndi PohGreat food for the price point. Ordered the Mero set (it tastes like cod but it’s suppose to be a grouper family) and the beef set. We also ordered the assorted veggie tempura and look at the size for $9.90!!!! It’s like a meal on its own and a lot for two to share. The dessert the red bean was nice but the mochi was hard like frozen and thrown into boil. Great overall and will be back.
