family and i keep coming back here because the mala is so so good! and its really affordable. the yong tau foo is very good as well and you can choose to fry the fried ingredients. the yong tau foo sambal is soo yummy, everything is so good here! their menu is very extensive as well, they have mee goreng, fried rice and ban mian soup too. the service here is also top notch! we were always served by the young chinese lady and she is so sweet and welcoming. we came with my mother who is wheelchair bound, and the server made the additional effort to help clear and pull tables for us, during lunch hour! thank you so so much for wonderful hospitality.
I've dine here before and remember that they would separate the fried and cooked items to prepare them separately(refry in fryer & cook in boiler). However, today they just dumped all into the boiler despite I've chosen mostly fried stuffs. They said they still refry the fried items upon request but have to inform them before they cooked it(the default protocol). Instead for customers who do not eat there everyday to remember their protocol, shdn't they just ask the customers first IF it wasn't obvious enough?! Given some of your items(etc dumplings, stuffed bittergourds) have both fried & cooked version, why would I choose the fried version to have it cooked in boiler. There are other YTF stalls who also doesn't refry the fried items but they will leave it as it is and not 'recooked' it in the boiler to totally kill off its crispiness. This is probably one of the worst YTF I had in recent memory just because the staff prioritize convenience over quality.
The best halal mala in Singapore ever! Their taste is always consistent. Generous portion and excellent customer service. We’re regulars! Please have a prosperous business and never close down.
