Goldilocks at Universal Studios Singapore is a delightful stop for anyone craving familiar comfort food with a Filipino twist while exploring the park. Known for its iconic Filipino baked goods and meals, this outlet offers a welcome break from the usual theme park fast food. The selection is impressive, with a variety of pastries, cakes, and savoury items that are perfect for a quick bite or a light meal. Their baked treats are fresh, flavourful, and hit the spot. Especially if you’re in the mood for something sweet and nostalgic. Portions are decent, and the food quality is consistent, even during peak hours. Service is efficient and friendly, which is a big plus in a busy environment like Universal Studios. The outlet is well organised, queues move quickly, and the staff manage the crowds professionally without compromising on service.
Bad food. Weird restrictions. Came to USS to celebrate my son’s birthday. Decided to stop at Far Far away land. The fried chicken here is stale, and bland. Their flesh has a funny smell and looks pink. Still we stayed to get ice cream so we have a dessert to put the birthday candle on. Credit where credit is due, over priced it may be but their ice cream is rather decent, I think from Ben & Jerry’s. But the service at the counter is awful. I got the Puss In Boots set and it comes with 2 scoops. But for some weird reason I could not choose the flavor of the ice cream and I had to get the default flavors. I tried to ask the staff if they could kindly swap out the flavors since it was for my son’s birthday and he had his favorite flavors but unfortunately she insisted that it comes with these 2 flavors. I told her I got other single scoops as well and I could choose the flavors there and could we swap that in so my son could at least have his desired flavor on his special bowl set but no. She rudely insisted the system states that the bowl comes with these default flavors. I didn’t want to argue and hold up the line over this weird rule. But if you’re thinking of a place to celebrate a special day with a loved one, I strongly recommend choosing someplace else.
What bad luck. My sister and I have always wanted to try the food at Goldilocks, but to say we were disappointed after lunch today is an understatement. We ordered the chicken waffle sandwich set and the tenders set. The coleslaw was bland and lacked dressing, while the tenders were hard and difficult to chew. It felt like they had been refried multiple times throughout the day. The waffle on the chicken sandwich was dry and hard. Just like the tenders, the chicken in the sandwich was tough and didn't taste fresh. Even the fries tasted a day old. What happened to the quality? So many tourists and locals visit the park every day. Is this really the standard? I am extremely disheartened. It was a waste of time and money since we couldn't even finish the food. I wish we had spent that money on merchandise instead. It would have been a more pleasant experience.
